What Abartech does;

Significantly improves production – quantity, efficiency and quality by automating the production facility. Existing equipment upgrades and development or state of the art production lines.

Provides design expertise for in-house wire production, rolling lines and heat treatment equipment including specialist wire hardening (patenting etc) {patenting is a special type of heat treatment}

Designs and builds continuous wire ring production machines for full integration with auto feed press tooling and stacked part collection – standard wire line production rate is 300 rings per minute.

Continuous Heat treatment (austemper or oil quench) of retaining rings in stacked form

Fully automated or semi-automated surface finishing (mechanical/impact zinc plating, electro plating and phosphating)

Continuous automated product validation including NDT testing techniques – can be 100% shipped part, final function, inspection or at critical stages in production

Automated packing for supply of stacked and orientated parts direct to the customer either on wire or shrink wrapped and labelled.

Also designs retaining rings for special applications (the picture below is a special ring made from an exotic stainless steel not normally suitable for making spring components)
